Surrey Men’s Mental Health Focus Group

Action for Carers has been invited to support an important focus group to help shape Surrey’s understanding of men’s mental health and influence future local support.

This project is linked to the Department of Health and Social Care’s Strategic Vision for Men’s Health and Surrey County Council’s Suicide Prevention Strategy 2025-2030. The Public Health team is particularly keen to hear directly from men who have experienced poor mental health, to better understand real local experiences, the challenges men face, and the barriers to getting support. These insights will help shape Surrey’s local response to both national and county-wide men’s mental health and suicide prevention strategies.

This online session on Tuesday 26 May, 7-8.30pm, is for  male carers to attend and share their experiences and also share what would make a difference.
